Michelle's Review Preferences:

I accept YA ( and some MG and NA) I prefer Sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian, horror, etc

- Basically, I do not enjoy reviewing Contemporaries. It is a rarity that I will accept a contemporary review request.

I prefer physical copies over Ebooks, though I understand if all you have is an Ebook version available for review. I will still consider Ebooks for review, however,I get to physical copies quicker.

( this is not a ploy to get more physical copies. I am allowed to read at work, but am not allowed electronic devices, So my nook stays home. )

If you have a Adult book you would like me to review, I am willing to consider it, so long as it is in the sub genre I enjoy. ( paranormal romance, Sci-fi, Fantasy ect... Again, No contemporaries ) I will happily review these books on my goodreads and amazon page. If it has YA appeal it may be highlighted in an upcoming meme " Stepping out of your element" on the blog.

Brittany's Review Preferences:

I am currently accepting YA or New Adult but if you don’t fit into this category and your book has a tantalizing synopsis I could be swayed to other genres. I tend to stick to fiction (fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal, pretty much anything fiction).

If the book is not YA it could be featured on our Stepping Out Of Your Element meme as long as it could appeal to YA readers. If we do not feature it on the blog a review will be posted on Goodreads and Amazon.

We do Honest reviews.

What does that mean?

- If We do not enjoy your book. We will not lie. We will not be rude about it,

 but We will state facts about what did and did not work for us. 

- If We loved your book, we will actively spread the word. 

We rate books on a 5 star scale. 

1/5: Did not like, enjoyment on every level was a zero but I finished it. I would not recommend.

2/5: I don’t know what to think. The concept was there but it just did not work. I lacked emotional involvement with the characters or the story.

3/5: I Liked it. It was worth the read but probably will not read it again. Very average rating.

4/5: I really liked it. May have been a few things that were not my favorite but did not take away from the book as a whole. I will definitely continue to read the series or more from the author.

5/5: I loved it, could not put it down, would recommend to anyone, and I will be thinking about it long after I finished reading it.
