Waiting On Wednesday ( 1 )

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine
and spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

Since Brittany and I are now a team I am considering it "starting fresh"
so this W.O.W post is now the first of our combined blogging!

Michelle's W.O.W Pick:

The Uprising (The Forsaken #2)
by Lisa M. Stasse

Hardcover, 400 pages
Expected publication: August 6th 2013 by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers

( No Summery due to spoilers for Book # 1 The Forsaken. )

I LOVED The Forsaken. My review even verged on rambly and was much longer than I intended. I just couldn't stop talking about it! To read my review of The forsaken go HERE.
I cannot wait to get my hands on Book #2 and see if it lives up to the awesomeness of it's predecessor ! And Also- aaaah Love the Cover. Very BAM in your face, interesting and original just like #1 !

Brittany's W.O.W Pick:

Origin  (Lux #4)
Paperback: 400 Pages
Expected publication: August 27th 2013 by Entangled Publishing

( No Summary due to the fact that I don't want to spoil the whole series for a reader! )

I absolutely love anything by Jennifer L. Armentrout! Origin is the fourth book in the Lux Series and she also has the Covenant Series. Both are very good, I can't pick a favorite. We don't have any reviews of either from this series up yet but I hope to in the future!

Daemon (pictured above) is one of the main characters in the series and I don't even care if he is an *****! I didn't want to give away what he is but it really doesn't even matter, I still am in love!

**I wholeheartidly agree with Brittany's W.O.W pick! The Lux series is a favorite, and Daemon... oh Daemon...... ~Michelle

  1. Brittany, you and me both. Recently picked up the series and I'm already at Opal. I wouldn't be able to stand waiting a whole year for Daemon. T minus three weeks.

  3. I hadn't heard of Michelle's pick(or the first book, The Forsaken), but I love that cover so I will definitely have to check that series out! Brittany I have to say that that image at the bottom about marrying a fictional character? Yeah, it's perfect! I love the Lux series & that cover is just, yes. I haven't read Jennifer's other books though so I really need to. Great picks y'all! =)
