Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
Three years ago, Sophie Mercer discovered that she was a witch. It's gotten her into a few scrapes. Her non-gifted mother has been as supportive as possible, consulting Sophie's estranged father--an elusive European warlock--only when necessary. But when Sophie attracts too much human attention for a prom-night spell gone horribly wrong, it's her dad who decides her punishment: exile to Hex Hall, an isolated reform school for wayward Prodigium, a.k.a. witches, faeries, and shapeshifters.By the end of her first day among fellow freak-teens, Sophie has quite a scorecard: three powerful enemies who look like supermodels, a futile crush on a gorgeous warlock, a creepy tagalong ghost, and a new roommate who happens to be the most hated person and only vampire student on campus. Worse, Sophie soon learns that a mysterious predator has been attacking students, and her only friend is the number-one suspect.
As a series of blood-curdling mysteries starts to converge, Sophie prepares for the biggest threat of all: an ancient secret society determined to destroy all Prodigium, especially her.

When I asked Rachel Hawkins if She has a favorite cover she replied:
Do you Agree? Or is another your favorite?
I - Kind of agree, It's my second favorite, I like that they have a hint of the school in the background, and that they didnt make the MC look like a little school girl, but at the same time, it is very fairy tale ish, And I didn't really get that feel from the book. My favorite is the US Hardcover, its still not perfect, but it does match up with the characters and a bit more of the feel of the book.
As for the other covers.... US paperback is OK.. not great, I don't really get the wings :s but it's not the worst of the bunch. The UK and Polish are too "preppy" for me, and the focus is not on the MC, the UK one I prefer over the Polish though. The spanish does not fit for me at all, I can't make the connection the the story. Then we have the Bulgarian... oh. What. Were.They. Thinking?! It seems to me they were trying to pull in a whole different audience. The background, is cool. The Girls?! WTH? They do not dress like that believe me.. sigh. definitely not a fan.
