Second Hand Saturday
A weekly meme hosted by The Reading Teen
MY
second hand saturday giveaways are NOT weekly, But I will try to do one
often in order to clear my shelves of books that deserve better homes.
Many
of my second hand books are ARCs. Due to the nature of ARCs and the
fact that they have been read more than once keep in mind they are not
in pristine condition, some have creases on the covers, some have worn
out edges. However no true damage is done to the reading material.
Up for grabs:
( clicking on each link beside image will take you to goodreads page )
( Has small black marks on cover, right bottom corner slightly bent. light wearing on edges.)
( Has crease down middle of cover. Right bottom corner bent. Light wearing and discoloring on edges.)
ARC of Sapphique- Incarceron book 2 by Catherine Fisher
( Light wearing on edges. Slight discoloring on outer edges of pages.)
( Wearing on edges. Slight discoloring on outer edges of pages.)
(Near New condition, very slight wearing on edges

I often never reread books but once in a while, I would revisit books that are so good and so talk about just to feel the rush of it again. :)
ReplyDeleteI love reading, but I'll only re-read a book if I really love it. But even then, I allot enough time in between the first and second read so I can look at it with fresh eyes. At most, I'll probably re-read something 3 times depending on its length and how much I love the work.
ReplyDeleteThanks,

I reread books as I feel like it, but this last year since I started blogging, I haven't done it very often. At least 1-2 per year I think
ReplyDeleteIt depends. If I loved the book, I reread it within a few months. If not, then away it goes to rot in my bookshelf! :P
ReplyDeleteI read a lot during the summer just because I am stress-free and constantly is a reading mood. When school gets too annoying, it often kills my desire to read. But the good thing is that every week in my school, we set aside 30 mins to read every second week. So I read every second week and sometimes more than that as I go home to read but the bulk of it happens during the summer.
ReplyDeleteI don't reread a lot, but every so often i feel like a certain book or series calls to me, so then I reread it.
ReplyDeleteI mostly re-read all the time. It's mostly when I remember something at random and I feel compelled to go and find the page :)
ReplyDeleteWow, so many great books! :)
ReplyDeleteI reread books quite often if I liked them the first time, if I didn't like them the first time I won't reread them!
Thanks for the giveaway.
I haven't read the majority of these books, great giceaway, Thanks ;)

Crap...I commented then saw the question lol. Almost never now that I blog, before I started blogging I re-read books all the time. If I loved it chances are I would read it again within the year. That's one reason I joined the Soul Screamers challenge, so I could re-read the books and have a legit reason for doing so.
ReplyDeleteI tend to re-read books when I have had too many average or crappy reads in a row. Reading through one of my favorites always helps restore my faith in books.
ReplyDeleteHmm only when I really love a book or when I forget something about a book I will re-read!
ReplyDeleteI only re read when I really love a book or am totally in the mood for a certain type of book. Sometimes it's because I have forgotten and want to remember.
ReplyDeleteWhen I really like a book, and have nothing else to read.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I really love it, and it's an easy read. For example, right now I'm re-reading The Lost Hero. It's easy to read, but I love the plot.
ReplyDeleteI reread books whenever I'm either in love with it, or when I want to give it another chance to receive a new experience with it. My favourite book is literally falling apart at the seams.
ReplyDeleteI don't reread books too often, but I definitely do once in a while. They have to be pretty special books for me to reread them. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
